This is the first new letter from Sudeten Creche. It is also an experiment to check that everything is working ok.

Our interview given to Veronica Vasicka of East Village Radio, New York, has now been published on the Minimal Wave web site http://www.minimalwave.org . It is possible that you might need to register on the site to read it but registration is free and gives access to lots of interesting information. Veronica also continues to play our songs on her Minimal Electronik show http://www.eastvillageradio.com/modules.php?name=evrshow&ordinal=10 which is also Pod-cast over the Internet and can be downloaded as well. It is a "must" for devotees of the Minimal Electronik genre, covering many hard to find early artists as well as contemporary ones.

Work has commenced on new material for an extended set for the 2007 live performance. About 10 song ideas (music) and 4 set of lyrics are under review currently.

Work on older recordings and material has not yet started due to issues with our older analogue recording equipment and tape stock. It is hoped that this might start in the next 6 to 8 weeks however this is not certain.

Possible venues for our 2007 performance are being looked into including the Swedish Arvikafestivalen http://www.arvikafestivalen.se as well as venues in France, Belgium, Germany and Austria. If you have a suggestion for a venue please e-mail it to info@sudetencreche.com .

We will be at OJC Kompas http://www.ojckompas.be in Sint Niklaas, Belgium on the 14th October 2006 to see Oppenheimer Analysis and 2VM although we will not be ready to play by then. If you can make it we will be happy to meet you, sign your records or just have a beer and a chat.

Lastly we would like to express our thanks to Martin Lloyd without whose help we would not have achieved half so much in the last few months. Also to Veronica for being patient, to Henrik for information and translation, Mike Klein for historical information and Lieven. Lastly to Per Aksel of the Chinese Detectives for providing both historical and Technical information.

Until the next issue - good luck Sudeten Creche.
