Our trip to see Oppenheimer Analysis, Twlight Ritual and Martial Canterel on 14th October in Sint Niklaas, Belgium proved to be a great evening. We had a great time with Lieven De Ridder, Martin Lloyd, Andy Oppenheimer, Echo Frau, Plastikmann and Mike Klein. Some videos of Oppenheimer Analysis performance can be found at www.youtube.com including "Cold War", "Men in White Coats" and "Devil's Dances". We took a Demo CD with us that included "Wounds", "Are Kisses out of Fashion? - 2006" and "Fragment" which Lieven played during the evening. Following this copies have been provided for Mike Klein's "Weird Science" show www.feindsender.net, Plastikmann's show at www.ebm-radio.de , Echo Frau's show www.radio-stranger.com as well as Veronica's Minimal Electronic Plus show on East Village Radio (New York) www.eastvillageradio.com. We have been very pleased with the response to these songs. Progress on the album continues well and we now have 7 songs with and 8th in being worked on currently. The provissional title for the album is "Sudeten Creche - Then and Now". We expect the following tracks to be amongst the listed when it is ready: "GBH"," Blood on the Carpet", "Wounds", "Fragment", "In your Hands", "Then and Now" and "Glorious Treason". Our original recordings are now in the process of being recovered as we have now purchased equipment to make this possible. Two original Kindergarten master tapes are currently being worked on. Why two, you might ask? Originally when Kindergarten was recorded the first master tape, the product of the first mix, was delivered to the record company for pressing. Unfortately there was a robbery and the tape was thought lost so a second mix was mastered and this became the master for the released EP Kindergarten. However when a box of tapes were returned to us, the first master was also in it, therefore we have two completely different masters for the Kindergarten EP and the first has never been released. We had hoped to be able to announce in this newsletter our intention to play live at "Neon Welt" in March 2007. Unfortunately we cannot be ready in time and so we offer our thanks to Michael for his patience while we came to our descision. We don't want to disappoint fans but we do want to give them good value and we felt that this would not be possible in the short time remaining. In the end we felt there was just too much to do in the next 3 months with the album and the recovering the original recordings. We include with this newletter a Christmas present for our Subscribers. We have made available the 2006 version of "Are Kisses out of Fashion?" as an MP3 for you to download for a limited period. This version is slightly different from the version Demo'd by various radio stations and includes some additional signal processing in the final mix. The 2006 version of this song will not be included on the album and we have no plans to release it anywhere else. The MP3 is available at www.sudetencreche.com/Tones.htm Until the next issue - have a great Christmas and New Year. Sudeten Creche. |
